I want to be successful at Internet Marketing

Hi Everyone,

I saw this site while researching how to be successful at Internet Marketing. But first some info about myself. I am 63 years old and was forced into retirement when the place of my employ burnt down and 13 lives were lost.
I live in South Africa in a scenic town/village on the coast 45 minutes away from Cape Town and on the doorstep of South Africa's premier wine producing area Stellenbosch.
I need to earn a income as there are bills to be paid like mortgage and all sorts of horrible things that costs money. In other words I need to survive and money plays a big role.
I have spent money on Dataworx and My-data-team and as well as signing up with various Survey teams.
I have been busy studying these tuturials and have been posting to various free sites. I have chosen PayDotCom and mainly Clickbank companies for my affliate promoting.
For me to be successful at this I need more detailed tutoring preferable video tutorials. The problem is the many scams out there. Can somebody please point me in the right direction. At the moment I have to stay with the FREE posting sites as my understanding of Adwords and their costs are very limited and the paid sites and the [/align][/size][/font]costs of Pay Per Click could bankrupt me.

Hi Anwari,

Welcome to the forum and I'm glad you found it!

For me personally, I would stay far away from adwords until I have plenty of money to burn to refine a ppc campaign until it is profitable. But that's just me.

You are in the right place if you want to stay away from scams. Don't purchase anything until you ask about it here. A particular product may not be familiar to anyone here but you will get some excellent advice from the many varied members that are here.

There's lots of good information on this forum (and tons more in the private area). So look around but don't spend too much time before taking action.

Hi Anwari,

I can confirm what Jack and Rob have said, this is without doubt the best forum on the net for information about making a success of internet marketing and includes a lot of very savvy and helpful members.

I also agree with Jack on PPC - it can be a great way to drive traffic to a site, but it can very quickly blow your budget out of the water before you know it. You would be better served to follow all the SEO tips and advice in this forum and strive for generating free traffic from the search engines first!

I am sorry you lost your job, but you find a right and great place here where you can learn a lot. You know, in making money on internet and in internet marketing itself are a lot of different strategies and ways how to make money, so my advice to you is, choose only one and stick to it, because every one of it takes a lot of time and you would not manage to do various strategies at once. It took awhile till I realized that... But you know I like to study...
I suggest you take Vita's "From 0 to Profit" video course, but be sure to get access to his forum too, that Vita can help you as you go through that course.

Thank you for welcoming me to Vita Vee's Forum especially Partain Sr, Robcole, CoolyKid, Infinitity and Oddaljen and the advice passed on.

I was introduced to IM in February 2010 when I signed on with Dataworx which I found to be a waste of good money and time as I could not make head from tail with their instruction course. Is this a scam? Sheer frustation drove me back to the internet where I then found My-Team-Data which was a thousand times better than Dataworx so far as their video tutorials are concerned.

My son and I are doing this business together and My-Team-Data has been instrumental in teaching us the ropes about Internet Market. We have been posting numerous ads exclusively to free posting sites as instructed by My-Team-Data with no success.

Subsequently we have come to the agreement that to be successful at IM proper tutoring is vitally important or we'd be wasting our time.

So it was back to the blackboard(the internet) where I found two sites promoting their tutorials on how to make money with internet marketing:
1. Joel Peterson's ...Mini Site Formula and
2. Vita Vee's ... From Zero to Profit

I feel that one these tutorial videos will be the answer to my problems.

The answer is which one. Can anyone of the forum's esteem members kindly advise me on which one and why fully understanding that I am still a Newbie.

Seriously though I haven't done Joel Petersons course, but found the F0TP course amazing.


If you follow everything Vita teaches you and never give up this will be the best course you can do as it has helped me get amazing rankings.

This has probably been a very difficult experience.

I'm honored to see that my course is in your final list.
Unfortunately I can't tell you much about the mini site formula. Strangely enough I posted a blurb about it on my blog when it got released and I asked my blog readers who bought it to give their opinion about Joel's program.

If you go to google and search for mini site formula you'll find my post between #1 to #3 depending on your location.

What is interesting in that page above is the comments from the customers.

At the beginning the comments where very positive but after the beginning of 2010 it seems that the mini site formula has become ineffective. I'll let you read the comments so you can get an idea by yourself.

But if you like the idea of building a lot of sites you might want to look at another course called "Auto Content Cash". This is a good program that is less expensive than mine.

The idea behind this product is similar to the mini site formula but it seems that the strategies behind it are more recent and are still working to date.

Hello Anwari

It looks like you have some security filters in your outlook that blocks the opening of sites. I don't really know how it works but you might want to check in the security options or something like that.

Thank you for your reply.

Just starting out. Still not sure what to do.... IM or Niche products. The advantage I have is the free USA about IM that I received when I bought F0TP. I've got my Domaine name all I need now is to host it. All I need to do is find a cheapy and then get stuck in. I went through the videos once and now I'm following them step by step.

The videos are excellent! Can't imagine how one can be sucessful without the right tutoring.

Hi Everyone,

I'm searching for a web hosting company and have come across quite a few. my questions are as follows:
1. Must I find a hosting company in the country where I live? Are there advantages for doing this.
2. Hostgator which many on this forum use have various plans like ..... Hatchling, Baby and Business etc. Which one do I choose when doing IM as taught by VV 's F0TP.

I need a cost effective package that can serve my needs without having to shoot myself in the foot.

Some advice by anyone on this forum will be appreciated.

Hi Anwari,

If you only have the one domain then most of the "top" hosting companies work well... hostgator is used by a few people here with good success... and they are fairly cheap too for the single site...

Once you get a few sites going then you have to look a bit deeper and look for the additional services that you need...

I'm sure someone can give you an affiliate link

But realistically... for your first site... Vita teaches around hostgator so it makes that part of the course easy to follow if it might be an issue...
